Objective
“The main objective of the ”Color Run” is to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.
More than half of the participants are completing the 5 km distance for the first time, so the event's task is to inspire more and more people to engage in sports activities.

Distances
Jūrmala Color Run ~ 5 km
- No age limit.
- The distance is designed in the central part of Kauguri, creating a festival and color celebration atmosphere.
- Time limit: 2 hours.
- Time control is not conducted – this is a fun event, not a competition.
DRESS CODE: White clothing!
When registering, it is possible to purchase The Color Run™ official white shirts and additional color packs. Participation can be done by running, Nordic walking, dancing, or simply walking.
The only rule:
👉 Runners – on the right side, dancers and walkers – on the left side.
Color and foam points on the course:
- Start – color splash
- VIVACOLOR – orange color point
- GABI SHOES – red color point
- GO BOTANICALS – green color point
- PEPSI – blue color point
- REXONA – foam point
Color points will be served by Balticmarathons volunteer team, which will shower event participants with colors at each of the color points, using 100% natural, food-grade dyes that are safe for both people and the environment.
Organizer's recommendation:
- Wear sunglasses or head coverings for colored, blonde hair.
- Do not stop in color zones to avoid congestion.
Track surface: ~90% asphalt, ~10% cobblestone.
Music will play during the event and a festive atmosphere will prevail.
Children's run (~ 500m)
- Age limit: 2–12 years
- Track: start/finish area in Kauguru park (~500 m loop)
- Surface: 60% asphalt, 40% cobblestone
- Color throwers – only in the start/finish area
- Time control is not conducted
Color packets in the start package are not included, but they can be purchased upon registration.
The following will be determined TOP 3 fastest in each age group (separately for boys and girls).

- 10:30 – Opening of the event venue, start number distribution and registration tent begins operations
- 11:00 Activity zones of the event begin operations
- 12:30 – Registration and number distribution for the children's race ends
- 13:00 – Start of the children's race (by age groups)
- 14:00 – Zumba
- 14:15 – Open start corridor for participants of the “Color Run”
- 14:20 – Registration for the 5 km color run distance ends
- 14:30 – Start of the color run
- 15:30 – Performance by the musician ”OZOLS”
- 16:00 – Award ceremony / special nominations (provisional)

📍 At the event venue (number distribution and registration tent – Jūrmala, Mazā Nometņu iela 1, Kauguri – Kauguru parks) from 10:30 until 30 minutes before the start of each distance.
Companies and teams can apply with an invoice (preparation fee – 4 EUR).
The invoice must be paid by the extended deadline 27.08.2026.
- Registration is also possible on the changed date of the event day 30.08.2026 for an increased fee and discount codes do not apply, with a limited number of participants until the participant limit is reached in each distance!
- Information about the registration conditions with the ‘Jūrmala Resident Cards’ and their usage rules for this event is valid from August 3rd to August 19th at 6:00 PM.

Question: How to register correctly using the Jūrmalnieka card?
To ensure successful registration with the Jūrmalnieka card and the 100% discount, please adhere to the following conditions:
● Enter your first and last name exactly as they appear on the Jūrmalnieka card – including uppercase/lowercase letters and diacritics (for example, if the card says “Jānis Bērziņš”, then the registration form must also be filled in as “Jānis Bērziņš”, not “janis berzins” or in any other format).
● The card data and the data of the person registering must match completely – any discrepancy may prevent the system from confirming the discount.
Question: What to do if the system repeatedly shows an error even though the data is entered correctly?
If you have tried to register multiple times but the system still does not accept the data (possibly because the browser “remembers” previously incorrectly entered data):
1. Clear your internet browser's cache.
2. Close and reopen the browser.
3. Try to register again, carefully entering the data exactly as they appear on the card.
- Discounts for registration are only applicable to partners or supporters of this event!

- Participant registration and distribution of participant start packages and numbers will also be provided on the competition day at the registration tent located in the start/finish area, starting from 10:30. Registration for each distance ends at the time specified in the competition program.
- The participant's start package is issued to the registered participant upon presenting an identity document. To participate in the event, participants must comply with the requirements specified in the Regulations.
- If you cannot attend in person, you can authorize another person to receive the start number by writing the authorization on the electronically received confirmation letter. The authorization must specify the name, surname, phone number of the authorized person and include a copy of the identification document.
- For the team, the authorization is the electronic confirmation letter received by the contact person with the list of team members.
- If you cannot start in the chosen distance, unfortunately, the participant number cannot be transferred to another person. The paid participation fee is non-refundable. In this point, considering the postponement of the event due to force majeure, the possibility of transferring the participant to another person free of charge is provided.
- For health reasons, upon presenting a doctor's certificate, until the extended change date of August 26, 2026, at 18:00, participants have the opportunity to transfer the paid entry fee to registration for the 2027 color run. These participants will be registered for participation in the color run in 2027 without paying an additional 5.00 EUR.
- If a participant wishes to re-register for another distance, it must be requested by the extended re-registration date of 26.08.2026 before the specified competition date, by writing to info@baltijasmaratoni.lv. After the registration closes, the full entry fee determined by the competition organizers for the respective distance must be paid.
- Corrections of spelling or personal data errors made during the registration process can be made no later than one week before the specified competition date at 6:00 PM by notifying in writing and performing: info@baltijasmaratoni.lv• If the competition is canceled due to force majeure, the participation fee is non-refundable.

By registering for the event, the participant agrees to:

- The publicly visible start list and results show the participant's name, surname, year of birth, participant group, start number, team. If the participant does not wish to be listed in publicly visible lists, they must inform the representatives of the competition organizers via email at info@baltijasmaratoni.lv. In this case, the participant will be listed as 'Anonymous' in publicly visible lists. An anonymous participant cannot claim and waives any prizes awarded to competition participants.
- At any time, the competition participant has the right to request the deletion or correction of their personal data.
- By registering for the competition, participants agree to the use of photos and video materials taken during the competition for the purposes of the competition organizer, including, but not limited to, publication on the website www.baltijasmaratoni.lv, in Latvian media, and on social media.
- Participants have the right to request the deletion or correction of their data by writing to.

The organizers are not responsible for the ignorance and non-compliance with the competition regulations.
- Each participant, upon registering for the competition and making payment, confirms that they take full responsibility for their health's suitability for participating in the Jurmala Color Run.
- The competition organizers are not responsible for participants who do not comply with the established limit for completing the distances.
- The competition organizers are in no way responsible for participants who enter the distance without registration and the organizers' consent.
- For unauthorized advertising placement at the competition venue, a fine of 5,000 EUR.
- By registering for the competition, all participants confirm that they do not object to the use of photographs taken during the competition for marketing or advertising activities.
- The competition organizers are not responsible for any injuries that participants may sustain during the competition.
- For unauthorized number fabrication, the penalty is disqualification of the result.
- By arbitrarily shortening the distance, the participant will be disqualified.
- For crossing the finish line in the opposite direction, a penalty is applied: disqualification.
- Competition participants must not affect other participants and their results with their actions during the distance.
- Any competition participant who believes they have been restricted by any action until crossing the finish line may submit a complaint to the chief judge. The complaint must be submitted in writing within 15 minutes after finishing their run at the information tent.
- The regulations for the 2026 Color Run event govern the conduct of the competition/event on August 23, 2026. The regulations cover registration, cancellation of participation, organization of the start, awarding procedures, as well as the participants' responsibilities while participating in the competition.
