Distances
People's distance (~30 km)
The distance runs through the central part of Jūrmala city, starting at the intersection of Dzintaru Avenue and Lazdonas Street. The distance is designed in two laps. In the people's distance, it is prohibited to start with sports tandems or bicycles equipped with recumbent handlebars. The track surface is 100% asphalt. A time limit is set for completing the people's distance – 1 hour and 40 minutes. Participants who do not meet the time limit may finish the distance while adhering to the traffic rules. Helmets are mandatory for each participant!
Family distance (~15km).
The distance runs through the central part of Jūrmala city, starting at the intersection of Dzintaru Avenue and Lazdonas Street. Participants will complete the distance in one lap. Riders will be able to observe the unique architecture of Jūrmala and enjoy this ride in a leisurely mode. The time limit for completing the distance is 1 hour. Children born in 2019 and older can ride their bikes in this distance. It is prohibited to start with tricycles or dip-dap type bikes in the family distance. Parents may carry children in bike seats or bike trailers, and children must wear helmets. The track surface is 100% asphalt. Participants who do not meet the time limit may finish the distance while adhering to the traffic rules.
Children's distance (~ 500m to 1 km)
Children's distance starts will be divided according to age groups. The distance is located at the event's start/finish area on the Dzintaru Mežaparks roller skating track ~ 500m. In this distance, children may also participate with dip-dap type bikes. Helmets are mandatory for each participant!

The organizers reserve the right to change the distribution of children and age groups depending on the weather or other circumstances, announcing it on the day of the competition.
Registration
- Pre-registration with the Jūrmala resident card will close on 21.09.2025 at 18:00.
- Pre-registration for the competition ends on 26.09.2025 at 18:00 on the website: www.baltijasmaratoni.lv;
- Companies and teams can receive an invoice by filling out the registration form on the website www.baltijasmaratoni.lv. The invoice must be paid no later than 23.09.2025.

- Registration on the day of the competition takes place in the start/finish area, at the registration tent, starting from 8:30 AM. Participant registration for each distance ends at the time specified in the competition program.
- The participant's start package is issued to the registered participant upon presenting an identity document to the registration team at the Jūrmala Velomaratons EXPO RIGA PLAZA (25.09 and 26.09.2025).
- If you cannot attend in person, you can authorize another person to receive the start number by writing the authorization on the electronically received confirmation letter. The authorization must specify the name, surname, and phone number of the authorized person.
- For the team, the authorization is the electronic confirmation letter received by the contact person with the list of team members.
- If you cannot start in the chosen distance, unfortunately, the participant number cannot be transferred to another person. The paid participation fee is non-refundable.
- For health reasons, by presenting a doctor's certificate, participants have the opportunity to transfer the paid participation fee to the registration for the 2026 sports and entertainment events organized by UAB GEE TEAM until September 7, 2025. These participants will be registered for participation in one of the competitions organized by UAB GEE TEAM by paying an additional 5.00 EUR.
- If a participant wishes to re-register for another distance, this must be requested no later than September 7 by writing to info@baltijasmaratoni.lv. After the registration is closed, the full participation fee set by the competition organizers for the respective distance must be paid.
- Corrections of spelling or personal data errors made during the registration process can be made no later than one week before the specified competition date at 18:00, by notifying in writing and performing: info@baltijasmaratoni.lv
- If the competition is canceled due to force majeure, the participation fee will not be refunded

Taking positions at the start
- Participants are lined up at the start in the order of their assigned numbers.
- Numbers for participants in the popular distance are assigned based on the registration date. Organizers have the right to create a specialized corridor for invited participants. A technical start will be provided for the popular distance up to Meža prospekts.
- Participants in the family distance take their places in the start zone in a free order.
- In the children's distance, corridors are formed by age groups, separately for girls and boys.

Participant number and timing system:
- Competition numbers for participants will be issued at EXPO RIGA PLAZA (25.09 and 26.09.2025 from 10:00 to 19:00) or on the day of the competition at the registration tent.
- Participants who registered in advance must collect their competition numbers at EXPO RIGA PLAZA or at the registration tent on the day of the competition, at least 30 minutes before the start of their specific distance.
- Participants in the popular distance are issued two numbers, one number, a sticker on the seat post with an embedded electronic chip, and the other number to be attached to the participant's back with pins.
- Participants in the family and children's distances will be issued one number, which must be attached with ties to the bicycle handlebars.
- The number must be attached before entering the start corridor; it may only be removed after finishing your ride.
- The participant numbers for the popular and family distances have a microchip attached, which will record your time, so it must not be torn off!
- Numbers must not be damaged in any way!
- Numbers with embedded timing chips do not need to be returned.

Award ceremony:
- The first 3 places in the overall standings for the People's and Family distances are awarded with supporter prizes.
- The first three places in the specified age groups are awarded separately by gender in the People's distance and Children's distance with supporter prizes.
- The first 3 places in the team standings for the People's distance are awarded with prizes from partners.
- There is no separate evaluation in age groups for the Family distance.
- At the request of the organizers, all competition participants must attend the award ceremony.
- Participants must arrive at the award ceremony in cycling attire.
- If not attending the award ceremony, the prize will not be awarded.
Team rating
- Teams are evaluated separately in the People's distance.
- The minimum number of participants allowed to register a team for inclusion in the team standings is 4 participants.
- All team members, even if they register individually, must have the exact team name specified.
- There is no limit on the number of participants in a team.
- The team's result is the sum of the times of the 4 fastest participants.
- If the best team cannot be determined this way, the team whose fastest athlete has achieved a higher place wins.
- The team overall standings are not separated by men and women.

- By registering for the competition, the participant agrees to the processing of their personal data for the purposes of organizing the competition. To ensure the objective recording of competition results, it is necessary to provide the participant's name, surname, gender, date of birth, phone number, email, and chosen distance. Other data can be submitted at the participant's discretion.
- At any time, the competition participant has the right to request the deletion or correction of their personal data.
- By registering for the competition, participants agree to the use of photos and video materials taken during the competition for the purposes of the competition organizer, including, but not limited to, publication on the website www.baltijasmaratoni.lv, in Latvian media, and on social media.
- Participants have the right to request the deletion or correction of their data by writing to.
- If the participant provides their email when registering for the competition, it will be included in the participant database to inform the participant about news or changes in competition information, as well as other events. The participant can unsubscribe from receiving news at any time by writing to the email info@baltijasmaratoni.lv.
The organizers are not responsible for the ignorance and non-compliance with the competition regulations.
- Each participant, upon registering for the competition and making payment, confirms that they take full responsibility for their health's suitability for participating in the Jurmala Color Run.

- The competition is held in accordance with UCI (SRS - International Cycling Union) regulations.
- Helmets are mandatory for cycling, and it is prohibited to attach any hard objects (video cameras, etc.) to the helmet.
- Riding without a fastened helmet or without one, the participant will be disqualified.
- It is prohibited to participate with a bicycle that is not in technical order. The bicycle must be equipped with brakes. Race judges may prohibit a participant from competing based on the condition of the bicycle.
- The competition organizers are in no way responsible for participants who enter the distance without registration and the organizers' consent.
- Tandems and bicycles equipped with child seats or bike trailers are only allowed to start in the Family distance.
- For unauthorized advertising placement at the competition venue, a fine of 5,000 EUR.
- Participants must adhere to road traffic safety regulations while on the course.

- The competition organizers are not responsible for any injuries that participants may sustain during the competition.
- For unauthorized number fabrication, the penalty is disqualification of the result.
- By arbitrarily shortening the distance, the participant will be disqualified.
- For crossing the finish line in the opposite direction, a penalty is applied: disqualification.
- Competition participants must not affect other participants and their results with their actions during the distance.
- When crossing the finish line repeatedly, the participant's last crossing time and corresponding position will be recorded.
- Doping control may be conducted at the event.
- Any competition participant who believes they have been restricted by any action until crossing the finish line may submit a complaint to the chief judge. The complaint must be submitted in writing within 15 minutes after finishing their run at the information tent.

Attention participants
- The panel of judges, together with the organizers, has the right to decide on matters not mentioned in the race regulations.
- Provisional results will be published on the evening of the race day at www.baltijasmaratoni.lv.
- After evaluating complaints and discrepancies, the confirmed results will be published one week after the race.
- Complaints about results must be sent to the email: info@baltijasmaratoni.lv no later than two days after the race!
